Abuse & Trauma
Emotional and psychological trauma can come from a one time event, an ongoing series of events, or even stress & abuse that is ongoing and does not relent.
Experiencing a serious injury or medical event, a natural disaster that threatened your life, cancer or surgery, the unexpected death of a loved one, or a violent attack are all examples of traumatic events.
Growing up in an abusive household, living with a chronic disease, or experiencing the unimaginable stresses of war are examples of ongoing, unrelenting trauma.
Abuse can include sexual, physical, and mental violence, sexual assault, rape, incest, child molestation, and non-consensual sexual coercion.
We provide a safe environment to provide counseling & therapy to work through the issues surrounding the abuse and trauma you’ve experienced and are dealing with.
